    I only Grow duck's sorry, So i do not know, But try holding the chick with your Index finger and thumb very gently around the body of the chick, By the way how old is it because the younger the chick is the more used to be handled it has to get used to.

    If you have any weak hicks try feeding them boiled egg yolk this will boost up there vitamin and energy levels, The rest can just be fed on chick crumb.
