    Does anyone have a guess on this one's gender? I'm thinking a Roo. My Cochin hatched 5/10 eggs I placed under her. The others that hatched are silkie & polish ... No idea on their gender yet but I understand they take long longer to identify. TIA!

    Yes, mine do have a sympathy egg song also. at least the girls are supporting each other. I just wondered if Cochins specifically had a loud egg song? I can't find anything on specific on Cochins "singing". I can hear the Easter egger across the neighborhood .

    Thanks Sylviethecochin! I appreciate the help! I actually want both types... And I want to make sure to get each type. I ordered from my pet chicken & it arrived today but they were out of those two types. Watch me come home with 5 more or something . My husband will be a bit unimpressed.

    Hi all!! I'm picking up some chicks tomorrow and the person I'm getting them from can't tell the difference between the Blue Laced Wyandotte vs the Columbia Wyandotte (they are all together). I've searched high and low on this. Does anyone have any insight on these chicks??
