    Oppinions needed. Burried run fence, or an apron around the run?

    i have a 2 foot apron around my 8' by 16' run that is covered with 1/2" of soil. We have lots of coyotes in our area and it does a good job keeping them out.

    muddy run?

    After every rain, my run gets pretty muddy and the chickens don't like it. What could i do to prevent it from getting muddy? Would spreading hay work?
