Anyone use Muscovy Ducks To Incubate Goose Eggs?
Our Muscovy is currently sitting 8 of her own eggs, we've never had a broody hen before, but I have to say she is a fantastic mum to be, I think she would have sat goose eggs really well. Good luck, I will pop by to see how its going Hatty -

Heres a picture of them all together, 6 eggs were put in the bator, 5 were fertile and 5 have hatched we've got to keep them going now ;0) I'm so happy that egg #5 made it, it has completed our Jubilee weekend The last one out is sat down towards the feeding bowl, the others are so fluffy... -

Hatching again!!
I'm super excited. I can see inside on 2 of them now, the other 2 are still just chipped on the outside. I am finding it hard to keep the humidity up! I have a bowl of water in there as well as the underneath vessels filled up and I have added a wet cloth, anything else I can try? maybe a... -

Hatching again!!
Got up this morning and 3 had externally pipped, when I looked again about 20mins later the 4th had so just 1 not externally pipped yet! Roughly how long is it now until they hatch, this is where I got to last time and ended up helping, do I wait another 24 hrs? Thanks, Hatty -

I can hear them cherping from within their shells I've just been out and had a go at venting - runners - 2 male & 2 female and the Aylesburys are looking like 1 Male & 4 Female so maybe just the 2 male runners that will go as we've already got 3 male runners on the farm. Edwena (muscovy)... -
