    YES youre right ! there is a thread in this very site about mixed coturnix. the one which looks like mine is called rosetta.

    thanks for reply. mine makes some crow like sound too. but I have never seen him going after the females. (maybe he is too young). I looked at the vent and it was exactly the same as my female quails. I guess I should wait a few more weeks.

    Natural or Incubator

    Incubator is the best option for sure ! you just need to keep the baby quails warm and none will die. use heat lamps. or put them under sunlight.

    I looked at the vent but found no difference from my female Coturnix quails.
