I am going to try DE today. I have been using Comfortis on my dogs and cats but I think they just pick up more fleas when they go outside. So today I am going to take up all the leaves and spread DE everywhere and maybe add a little Sevin! Ugh! I hate fleas!!
I am so happy! Doc gave her capstar, diarrhea meds, dewormer and antibiotics and said there is a good chance she will make it. She is such a sweet girl.Just wanted to share with you!
Unfortunately I am not sure what else I can do. She is over 5 and has other things wrong. I cleaned her and put a DE & antibiotic ointment on her. I am taking her to the vet after this storm passes. I am pretty sure doc will want to put her down. Thank you.
My barred rock, Cleo, just sits in the corner and has watery diarrhea. A few days ago she layeda rubbery egg. Then layedanother just fine. But since yesterday she just wants to sit around and not join the others. Looks like she did not eat so I gave her some yogart with grapes.
Any advice.

My hen got her feathers on her back plucked. Now she has a big bald spot. It is not bleeding. Can I do anything for her? Will it effect her? Thank you!
My daughter is 10. She is okay but I hope she won't be afraid of chickens now. She feeds them all the time. I did exactly as you suggested. Hope her face does not scar.
