I've been away for a long time. Took me awhile to get caught up on all the posts and lovely pictures. I have a few new birds myself, along with a new home and a fresh start. Hopw to stay up with everyone again and all the posts. Here are some of my babies.
I have a question that I hope someone here can help me answer. I am getting some partridge nn hens and only have a white roo from paint lines and a buff roo from pure buff lines. I was going to put them with the buff roo after they spend 30 days in lock up. LOL. I want to try to produce buff nn...
The pair this guy came from was a paint roo from paint lines, I got him from a breeder in Ky. The hen was a buff lady I had raised from a chick from my first silkies from 5 years ago.
I have a question for the more knowledgeable silkie breeders. I have a white rooster from paint and buff breeding, it was an oops breeding as I didn't have a buff rooster at the time. I know have him with buff ladies and a black sizzle hen. If he is bred to the buff ladies, what are the chances...
Just wanting to show off some of my babies. It was so pretty out today that I took advantage of it. The silkies enjoyed it too.
This lovely lady just started laying about a week ago and she has been laying every other day. Collecting eggs to start hatching from her now.
My 1 and only...
Looking for buff silkies or showgirls in or around Corydon, Palmyra. If anyone knows of someone, can you help by pointing me in their direction please. I am having a hard time finding nice buff silkies. Looking for a few lovely ladies like this girl.
I have 5 buff silkies and I am looking for 3...
This little baby is so sweet. Can't believe it came from a black and paint breeding though. I have more eggs in the bator from the same pairing, we'll see if it repeats. Black sizzle hen, paint silkie roo.
Looks like a boy to me. I have buff as well and he looks like my boy. Give him a little more time, his streamers will turn a darker orange. He is very pretty by the way.
I can't wait, I have paint silkies and sizzles due to start hatching today and tomorrow. Hoping for a good hatch. I'll post pictures once they are dry and fluffy.
The buffs are my favorite. I got them from a friend in Kentucky after waiting for over a year. I can not wait to start getting eggs from thwm to hatch.
I have a paint rooster and 5 hens for sale. They aren't show quality but still nice. I have 1 blue hen, 2 blacks hens and 2 silver partrifdge. All laying about a year and a half to 2 years old. Asking 100 for all of them, I'm moving and have to cut the number of silkies I have.
Some of my babies from this year. I'm loving the partrdige from my boy Odin.
My buff boy, he is very handsome and loves his ladies. I can't wait to start hatching from this pen.
One of my amazing buff hens, love her to pieces. Love all the ranges in color I get from my partridge pen...
Is there any way possible for a solid black sizzle to come from a blue sizzle to partridge breeding? I have a sizzle hen with a paint roo and they threw a partridge sizzle chick. I know that both came from correct color pens. I breed the black hen from a blue and black pen and the breeder my roo...
