I'm curious if anyone knows what breed these two pullets are? The were bought in March from Blue Seal as "blue rocks". Clearly they are not "blue". Both are black with golden brown speckled chests. Black legs. They are 16 weeks old. I'm thinking they are just mixed breeds.
These three Welsummer chicks are 4.5 weeks old now. I am hoping at least one of them is a pullet but all three look identical to me. Nothing distinguishing between all three which makes me feel like they are either all pullets or all roo's. Thoughts?

Lilly is a 12 week old Blue Cochin ... 2 days ago was running around with her flock mates happy go lucky. Yesterday I came home from work and she was sitting in the corner of the pen by herself. I walked over to her and she let me pick her up (unusual). She looks like she has the "blues"...
I just purchased two Cochins - both from the same hatch. They are 9 weeks old but Lily seems to have a slightly larger comb. The breeder showed me a third from the same hatch that was quite obvious a roo .... his comb was much bigger and very red and he was the same size body wise as these...
I was told Lily & Tulip came from the same hatch ... they are 9 weeks old but Lily is a lot bigger than Tulip ....... I was told they are EE's. I hope they are both girls! Is it too soon to tell?
