Life is changing for us, and it is not for a positive reason

Sorry, guys. Things at work are really hectic, Ken is slowing declining and we are trying to find a new place to live that is smaller. We got rid of all the chickens, two dogs will be going soon and the goats will go as soon as we find a place. I can't say things have been easy, because they...

Life is changing for us, and it is not for a positive reason

We have both agreed that when he gets his unemployment check, we are taking him to Greyhound. Ken knows as well as I do that there is no way we can afford to have him around anymore. On the good news front, since Ken has been on meds for diabetes, his hand and stomach wounds have completely...

Life is changing for us, and it is not for a positive reason

Sorry for my absence. I had to get over a mad I had going on for a bit. Ken's son is here and has been for three weeks and he is eating us out of house and home. I am NOT happy about that because he is spending his unemployment payments on $80 bottles of whiskey and hasn't offered once to...

Morphine also inhibits breathing, so that is not an option for him. He is on Compazine several times a day for the nausea. Yesterday he seemed much better than the rest of the last week or so.

    My hatch

I agree with you! I was so aggravated by the differences in the temps and the humidity, I just tossed them and did what I thought was right. Been hatching for 5 years now, but only had a really good hatch rate from my own eggs. I would SOOO do this again!!!

    My hatch

My post when I started the hatch is long gone and I have yet to figure out the search feature here. My 14 shipped eggs went into lockdown Saturday evening. I woke up to one chick this morning, came home to one more, and there are 7 more pipped - THAT I CAN SEE!!!! I would say that is pretty...
