thanks for all of the suggetions. i have allready tried blowing an egg out and i put mustard, louisiana hot sauce, and a touch of vinegar and guess what THEY LIKED IT!!!!! so now i dont know what would work. i have never heard of pine tar. i might try that. keep the suggestions coming please.
what tastes bad to chickens? i am wondering because i have 3 egg eaters and i am trying to blow out some eggs and put some nasty stuff in there for them to eat. so maybe when they get a taste of it they will quit.

they free range all day. i think the egg eating is happening during the night and early morning when they are still in the house and i havent let them out yet.
ok i will try all of that. and i figured they had a lot to do since they get to free range.
and its not the 5 month old ones that havent layed in a while its the almost 2 year olds.
