This is a great article that will tell you how to train your roo not to crow. I've used some similar methods with success, but the article makes a good point about the dominance. Now the only time they really crow is when they get bored, which I can work towards fixing...
I've been able to do the same with my two Roos. I've held them a lot ever since they were young, and so now, (they're 2 months old), they can sit on me for hours without pooing. They'll only go when I put them down. I haven't figured out how to make them "go outside" but yes, evidently, they...
Something that works really well to clean up chicken feathers is ACV. My little chick once had his whole back end full of poo, and I could not get him clean with just warm water or soap. I came online here to look for a better cure and found people using ACV. I tried a little bit of it (not...

Could be the heat if it's only been one week. Anything more serious would take several weeks to develop and see symptoms. Do they get out in the yard and eat rocks? The oyster shell is good but there are also minerals that they find in the soil/surface they peck that seems to be necessary as...
Oh my goodness! You can buy these great bins at Target for about 10$ that make great "indoor chicken bins" when you need them to stay inside for a bit but down want the mess on your floors. They are about 2 by 4 ft and plenty tall for them to just hang out in for a day or so.
