Or the white one could be mixed with bearded Silkie... Which would explain the 5 toes on the white one and the beard. Hard feathers are a more dominant gene that silkie ones. I agree with the OP on the black... If it is at an age to be laying then it would have more comb and wattle and more saddle feathers... Unless it is younger than the OP was told. I have an EE that I swore was a male for a long time because her hackle feathers were pointed and kinda narrow and she had a few thinner feathers in the saddle area... Well I have 3 blue egg layers and I get 3 blue eggs almost daily. If I'm wrong on the black one I apologize but I'm as certain as the OP.

remove the black one to another cage. Whichever cage lays an egg is a hen. The one taht crows is a roo.

Your black one looks like a very young roo that should start crowing any day.
