Well my 23Rd day has passed. 8 went into lockdown only 3 hatched. Checked the 5 that didn't hatch. Fully developed chicks. I did dry hatch until day 18 then had humidity at 60%. They were all active when they went into lockdown. It seems like I always have this problem. I need advice as to what...

So, so sorry about your loss. Last winter I had the exact thing happen to my flock. I never did find out who's dog it was. I feel you pain and heartache. I hope some make it through. My entire flock and 1 rabbit were killed.

If a fertile eggs is frozen in the coop, is it still viable to incubate? In Michigan it's cold and the eggs can't always be collected right away.
If they are still viable, what suggestions does anyone have besides letting them warm up slowly prior to incubating?
You could always do what I do: I brood them in my kitchen in an enclosed open top dog house! Lol once they are COMPLETELY feathered I put them in a little coop by themselves.
