I sell abougt 5 dozen a week, all regulars. My good problem is more people are wanting to buy but will need more chickens to meet the demand. Funny thing is, We're not out there advertising, but once people find out we have chickens they ask right away if they can buy a dozen :) LOL

Thanks, have the smaller hole wire on hand just need to tack it infront of the chainlink. The gaps have the wire covering them, just can't see it in the picture.

Well got the brooder set up this past Sunday and wife just called to let me know she's on her way to pick up the baby chicks at the post office. Looks like we are on our way to a chickens way of life... LOL
I understand not wanting to hunt them, but until you get help I'd definately keep a rifle handy to ensure the safety of your kids and don't forget your dogs, Coyote packs can be very dangerous and will gang up on dogs. Good luck and hope you get the help from the DNR or animal control.
I agree, was hoping to get multi colored eggs, but I'm learning local chickens are hard if not impossible to find and online hatcheries are about the only option. I just didn't want to start out with to many. Will wait until I have the whole process down...
