Well got the brooder set up this past Sunday and wife just called to let me know she's on her way to pick up the baby chicks at the post office. Looks like we are on our way to a chickens way of life... LOL

I have some of the laziest roosters I've ever seen!
They don't even crow til 9 am, and even then with minimal entusiasm, like "o yay morning time"- whatever!

just an assorted set of 10 brown egg layers (were on special) Not sure what type they are yet, other than one black chick, two red chicks and 7 yellow chicks LOL waiting on wife to email a picture and will post it...
