I'm so proud of myself for finally finishing my chicken coop. Today I moved out my 3 1/2 week old Australorps in to the brooder in the coop. I admit I did take a lot of time in the planning and designing of it and make it a safe as possible for my flock. The one thing I did decide not to do it...
Thanks for the post. I just had a chick hatch from a big egg and seems to have a sore and bit of blood on its behind. Would it be okay to use hydrogen peroxide to dry the wound? I have kept it in the incubator away from the others - which have all hatched fine.
tyvm - I pulled the plug a little while ago and the humidity is going down the heater is just working a little harder to maintain the temperature - but so far so good.
