    Do I have to let my freshly butchered rooster sit in the fridge 24hrs if I plan on just making a soup out of him? I know you should if your oven roasting, but would there be any difference if I boiled the meat. Wont it be tender either way?

    He died killed by his roommates. My kids really took a liking to the lil guy and made him a cross and buried it in the backyard with flowers and the whole works. He had a short life but a good one.

    Kuntrygirl glad you saw this. He or she (my kids call it Mr. Owie foot) is still bleeding and picking at his foot constantly. I've done everything I can think of. I've wrapped bandages around, dipped his foot in rubbing alcohol, antibiotic creams, it just wont heal! What is blue Kote?
