    The chicks really do look like chipmunks. We have two, which started out looking very similar, but now at about 3 months are very different. One is the biggest bird in our flock, the other is the smallest, and looks more like a pheasant.

    Thanks. My son wanted them all named for Dr. Who characters, but Pepper and Cleo were named by my wife and daughter. (Martha's real name is Jones, I only call her Mayflower because she is a Barred Plymouth Rock.)

    I love it, but the eagle got to me. Hawks have been perching in our trees since our girls took up residence.
