I lost all 3 babies in 20 minites from a hawk he didnt eat them just killed them . SAD

Well light is not an issue,as we have light all day and it doesnt get dark till after 7.00pm feeding isnt it either and over population naarrrr they have the biggest chicken run that i know of heheh a neighbour sayed they could be in there malt not sure of spelling i will just have to...

Good morning ,the girls were fully grown when I bought them and were laying with in 2 weeks after they settled in ,I had them for 12 months or so I have a Sussex and she lays 1 egg every day but they are small the others were laying huge eggs but now haven't laid for about 3 weeks :-(:/

i have 3 red hens im not sure how old they were when i got them they have been good layers but now the arnt laying at all not sure what to do I have increased there food and make them yummy treats .STILL NOTHING what now ????

Yes I have one red hen that loves my grand kids and me of course and runs to the gate and waits to be picked up and cuddled its so cute to see .:lol:

Hi I have lost all my new babies to hawks ,I had them in a small cage and thought they were safe I wasn't and in 20 mins Iost them to a stupid hawk he didn't want to eat them just pulled them through the wire
