Thanks for finding that out. I guess you could call them grey. My kids are insisting they are dark green, but I dont see it. They look black to me. I wanted another swedish, and know I know which eggs are hers. It makes the egg carton more interesting that's for sure. -

My ducks just started laying this month. I have some cambells, a pekin, and a black and white swedish. Two of them have been laying for a month or so now, and a third just started. The new one has laid two black eggs so far. When washed, it fades to a charcoal grey. We planned to eat it.- Sinister

Got home from night shift and went to let the clan out. There it was sitting in the middle of the pen. I walked around back to the run and there was another one! I had just about given up hope that I would see any before spring. The kids were so excited, almost as much as I was. -
