I just got back from the fair and I went straight to the poultry tent. It was great! They had some beautiful dewlap tolouse and white sebastopol geese, I would really like to buy some but I dont think they will be for sale. I will be at the fair tomorrow showing horses and at least one more...

I have a rooster who is lethargic and not acting like the other birds. I think he is losing weight. His dropping are very watery and when I picked him up a slimly clear liquid poured from his mouth.

I have noticed that silkies are getting bigger and are not as small as bantams should be. I have heard a lot of judges say silkies are too big. I was just wondering what people on BYC thought about this and any tips to reduce their size.
