Here's one of my hens, Cassandra.
There're great birds, but the hens are a bit "pickish." Which means they will pick at my roosters's comb, and anything else that becomes slightly bloody.

He has a red face because he's been inside all his life. He's out now though, so his face will turn much darker soon.

Herherm. He's a bantam. of course he looks "scrawny." I don't want a chunky bantam. And last time I looked, gamey=scrawny, wild-looking.
That bird looks gamey. No breast to speak of, and tall posture.
