After 2 days he was back to his normal silly self. I think it was the humidity being so high. I added electrolytes to his water and he started to perk back up. Thank you for responding :)
I was wondering what my options are as far as this goes. My roo is acting lethargic, not crowing or trying to love the girls. Just standing there like he is trying to sleep. His poo is normal, comb and wattles are bright red and I have seen him eat and drink a little. Not sure what is going on...
Since my last post about how many chickens I had has changed I figured I need to change my vote, lol. I have 6 adults, 4 teenagers, 3 chicks and 2 teenagers on the way. Talk about chicken math! :)
If its fowl pox or a fungus, how do I treat it. None of the others has anything I can see and they are still laying near bout every day. Thanks for the help in advance y'all :)
Chickenlover I have one hen that is very meticulous about cleaning his face and comb. It had a trickle of blood on it about 2 weeks ago but wasn't pouring. I don't have a closer pic yet but I could probably try and get one tomorrow if that would help. I do not have any other roosters for him to...
I would try snake proofing first and if that doesn't work, relocate it. I relocate everything I can. I haven't had any run ins with possum or raccoons yet. Hopefully I won't. :)
