have turkey hen with swollen cheeks. runny eyes and nose. still eats and drinks good, full of life. been giving her triamycin for 4 days with little differance. i put a cold cloth on cheeks ,she likes that . any ideas. i can't find any disease that match.
i have a very small bantam its black with a golden head. the bird whistles instead of a cluck. i have had this bird for 2 years and i would like to find more . it is pigeon size.
most of my girls are 1 and 2 year old. rhode island reds ,nh. reds and buffs. they have slowed down eating a bit. they do seem to look a lot better to me now. we are getting 12 eggs a day from them. i think thats good odds also
i have 26 chickens 2 are roos. last week i found out i wasn't feeding them enough. in the past week they ate 100 ponds of layer crumble ,50 pounds of scratch, 10 cans of cat food. and asorted greens. is this to much ? they eat every bit with no waste. and they seem to want more.

basically my hens are without butt and tail feathers. those are the older ones about 2 year old. the young ones about 9 months old don't have this problem.
I have just finished making lye soap with coffee grounds, regular, and rose scent, but the rose did not come out like I wanted it to.
Also, I do caning and freezing of produce. we also have chickens.
Most of my soap comes out with different colors depending on the kind of goat milk that you use. I have some that I just made that is real light and some that is darker.
I also put oatmeal in my soap to give it a texture to help cleanse a little better. I also put coffee grounds in mine...
