I found a one foot black snake on the ceiling of the coop. When I scream ( I'm really scared of snakes) the snake just falls of and slithered in my direction. So my chickens Tinker and Bell (I am like their mom since I hatched them) ambush them like a gang and eat it. Is that normal?
For the 3rd time, my chick will chirp so loud and quits when it falls asleep in my bed. So I put a box with newspaper and a window on my bed for it to sleep. Here is a picture of her/him.
Sorry for your loss:hugs
My first and favorite rooster died because of a dog. And his death was when my cousin died. We will not get dogs again because 1. I am not a dog person and 2. THEY ATTACK MY CHICKS AND CHICKENS!!!!
I have six chicks and each one has the runny poops. I don't know what to do. One has a little blood (or that is what it looks like) in it poop. Please Help!!!
I thought of a great way for my CHICKENS to get their exercise. A hill race! The winner get a full slice of bread. Here is the photos.
Pete likes to rub it in their faces that he got the bread.
Yeah, but I did it every day and she was totally fine. Thank you all. Her picture is my profile picture. My mom said I can have a Silkie as an indoor pet.
2 Weeks ago, a dog bit and almost killed her. We put some stuff on her to heal Chompy. And she lived. This morning she was just fine. So I put her in her cage and brought her outside for fresh air and grass. She also had food and water. Well I go out there and she's dead. Her wound was better...
My baby chicks is hatching now! It has been a long time since I had chicks. Do you think I'm a little crazy I read them bed time stories and try to figure out their favorite. The last bunch liked breaking dawn. I will keep only the females. Do you guys have any good names?
This really happens all the time. My barred rock/austlarp rooster Zeus thinks he can mate with anything at all. I will list them.
1. 3 bowls. 2. Upside down ice cream bucket. 3. 2 pop cans. 4. A dinosaur toy (a t-rex toy)
