This really happens all the time. My barred rock/austlarp rooster Zeus thinks he can mate with anything at all. I will list them.

1. 3 bowls. 2. Upside down ice cream bucket. 3. 2 pop cans. 4. A dinosaur toy (a t-rex toy)

LOL. Now in all fairness (and hopefully this doesn't start a debate) according to many paleontologists dinosaurs eventually became modern birds...so I'd let that one slide. My son calls our flock his mini-dinosaurs and mini-velociraptors (he loves the Jurassic Park movies). As long as my boys don't try humans or the dogs/cats I think I'll be ok...they're still too young to know for sure yet.
