I'm looking for Silkies in Mississippi or Alabama. I have two Silkie roosters and one hen and I'm scared if I don't get more hens the roosters will hurt her. Can anyone help me out? Does anyone know of a hatchery near Mississippi or in Mississippi? Or anyone selling silkies?
For about a month now I have been getting between 1 and 3 eggs a day but some days none at all and this past week I got 5 eggs one day then no more. I got one egg Saturday and have not got an egg since then.

About a few weeks ago I started letting them free rang about an hour before dark but I have stayed out there with them the whole time to make sure nothing gets them. Are there any signs to look for in when they might start?
My hens are about 21 - 22 weeks old and have not started laying yet. When I ordered my chicks I got a few free ones and they all turned out to be roosters. I got rid of the roosters except for the one I wanted to keep to see if that was the problem. Any other suggestions?
