My hens are about 21 - 22 weeks old and have not started laying yet. When I ordered my chicks I got a few free ones and they all turned out to be roosters. I got rid of the roosters except for the one I wanted to keep to see if that was the problem. Any other suggestions?

22 weeks is a pretty standard time for many breeds to start laying...some breeds start a little earlier...some a little later. Give it a little more time. Also, if you free range them it could be that they are laying in a "secret" spot.

About a few weeks ago I started letting them free rang about an hour before dark but I have stayed out there with them the whole time to make sure nothing gets them. Are there any signs to look for in when they might start?
