I'm in the newer section, but don't have anyone behind us, so I go smooze the neighbors and see what there thoughts are. What kind of chickens do the best in this weather?- keliekat

I don't know the name of the community, but I live off six mile canyon rd. we rent so I have to convince the landlord to allow it also. Feel like I have everything against me right now. I'm from Vegas and the laws weren't even as strict there!!- keliekat

Well to be honest I was REALLY REALLY REALLY wanting to raise some chickens now that we dont live in a city (moved from Vegas) i just read the municipal codes and says you need at least an acre of land to have any "barnyard animals or poultry" Since i'm new to the area i dont know if the laws...- keliekat

Hi from Dayton NV
Just recently relocated the family to Dayton NV. Have been interested in having chickens for a while now, and stumbled on this site. So i just wanted to say Hi to everyone and thanks for all the great information i've read so far!- keliekat
