Thank you for the suggestion. I haven't been able to do that as of yet. I will keep trying! Internet searches aren't very helpful it seems because there aren't many hatcheries and feed mills around here :( And they don't advertise well if they are.
I'm still looking in Greenville, NC. Somebody mentioned that Wilson's in Bear Creek, NC went under so is there somewhere else close by? Tractor Supply prices are ridiculous!
I may like to get in on that order. Does anybody know of a good place to get chicken feed around here (Greenville/Winterville)? Tractor supply's feed prices seem really high.
Hey BYC!
I am in Greenville, NC. That is NORTH Carolina. I am looking for sources of most types of chickens, but mainly the four listed in the name of the post. I am really interested in Freedom Rangers as I don't have much experience with them (but would love to give them a try). I am...
Just make sure you don't buy from this one person in Greenville, NC. If you PM I can give you more details but if you end up visiting his place you will see what I mean. Sick looking birds and filthy conditions. I hope he gets shut down soon!
I know this was posted a long time ago but tractor supply does this every year I think. Not sure of the date they get their chicks but it is usually a big deal for Greenville lol. I got 6 buff orpingtons as pullets. One died but the rest are producing great! I want to expand my flock now.
Hey, I know this post was a few months ago. DId you get rid of your Roos? I might be able to take some off your hands. I don't get a chance to check BYC very much although I love the site. Please shoot me an email at [email protected] if you're still looking. Thanks!
Hey, I saw your post was from a while ago. You're probably not in Greenville any more but if you are we are glad to have you. i don't check BYC too much but I would love to know how your flock is doing. I have Buff-O's and they are doing great. I'm looking to expand :)
