I have a new incubator and after a couple of days the turner got jammed. I fixed it after a day and a half. If the eggs were only there for a 2 days does anyone know if I should expect a problem with them hatching?
I came home and checked the incubator and it seems the cats pulled the plug on my incubator. The temp was in the seventies the eggs had been in there for about a week. Will they still hatch or or it a lost cause?
I brought my incubators up to temperature and filled them with eggs. I went out for the night and when I returned the temp was down to 93-94 degrees. I know that is too low but i'm not sure they actually ever reached temp as the were in there for less than a day. I guess I can leave them in...

The reply from Sumi saying to put 4 or 5 nesting boxes for 14 hens seems to make sense and explains why I have 32 boxes for about 40 hens and they all like to lay their eggs in about 4 of them.
