I also think there is a link between the missing 7/Daniel and Starbuck. They made it a point to talk about him as an artist, which could tie in to Starbucks drawings.
Also, the thing with her mother knowing she had a special purpose.
Thanks for all the kind welcomes!
Grace, you have Mille Fleurs! They are on my wish list. They are so beautiful and everyone who owns them just loves them.
My DH is still getting used to the 6 girls we have now so I'm going to have to wait a while.
One of the reason I had waited to post is because I lost the USB cord to my camera.
I have tons of pics, just can't get the on my computer right now.
I LOVE looking at everyones pics!
Thanks Buster!
After years of telling people, "I want chickens", only to have them say "Why?" its been great to meet all these other people who don't question my sanity!
Or maybe they do:)
1) FINALLY gotten my chickens that I dreamed of for years.
2) Learned how to feed, care and SPOIL them.
3) Made MP's yogurt (MP=superwoman!)
4) Made GG's bread, just tonight and it was great!
5) Tried making an automatic coop door (unsuccessful but still trying Nifty!)
6) Laughed out loud in bed...

I'm ALWAYS the one behind in class!....
okay let me think of a way to explain this for you
Okay say theres only one showable color of potbellied piggies (had to use it looking at your piggie is just too darn cute not to )
say that ONLY showable color is black.....and you breed...
This has always looked like the best option for us looking to combine keeping expenses in check, and finally moving forward with this crazy scheme of having a magic door...
Ditto Miss Jayne - thanks you so much to you and your family for all that you do so we can live our lives.
I'm a newbie and a tad cyber-shy (is that a new term) but felt compelled to give you my sincere thanks!
I could not get my chickens to go through a plexi-glass type door (it is a doggie door). I tried everything, including holding grapes (their fave) on the other side and they just wouldn't do it.
I have since cut about two inches off the bottom and now they will use it but it's not really a door...
Pigeonguy, I guess I'm not the only newbie who has been following this thread!
You're idea sounds great, please give detailed instructions and pics when you can!
Thanks Nifty-Chicken!
My brother (who is a mechanic) is going to help me on this one. If we come up with anything good, I'll post.
Thanks also for the kind welcome!
Please bare with me as I'm new at posting. I have followed this threat intently but have nowhere near the skills you guys all have. I was thinking about some of the motors out now that are being used in Christmas decorations. Like the lighted reindeer that lift their heads up and down?
After...
