Just hatched out a few bobwhite quail that I have been raising and out pops this guy.. Any thoughts on what color phase they call this. Have hatched 60 or 65 this year and never had one turn out like this. Even his legs are black.. Thanks for any help.

Hey everyone.. I have just had a baby hatch that has one leg stuck straight back and it lays on that side while the other foot goes 90 mph trying to move him around... Is there anyway I can fix it?? I just hate seeing him struggle like he does... Could really use some advise....

Sorry for the late reply. They are mixed. Have green eggs and white eggs. One of them has piped at noon and no more progress at this time... Day 26. Should I just be patient?? I know the green eggs are Mallard but no clue what the white eggs are..

Hatching my first ducks with my Tx7. Have 13 eggs in the incubator. I candled them all tonight and they are growing strong. Have 2 that will hatch next Tuesday and then a few more a week later and a few more a few days later... Am pretty impressed with this incubator so far... If they all hatch...
