Fan Malfunction on Brinsea Ovation 56.

Just a FYI for those of you that have one or are going to purchase on. Mine is a year old and only had 2 hatches in it. While I just set it full of expensive eggs the fan went out on day 12 of incubation and I lost the whole batch. I called Brinsea and they said that was the problem and sent me a new fan free. They stated that they had switched companies for the fans because they were getting so many call of fans going out. So make sure you have a back up incubator in case this happens to you..

Update in case anyone cares to know... Eggs are much more hardy than you think.... I thought I had lost my whole hatch. Out of curiosity I kept the eggs but didn't have a heat lamp but I put them under a light bulb for a few days while I waited for my replacement fan part. It arrived and I put my eggs back in the Brinsea and believe it or not... 34 out of 54 hatched!!
