Mine have been laying in the late afternoon, but they don't free range. I want to start letting them out, but was waiting for them to all start laying first.

We are having the same problem with the wetness. When we planned out where the coop and run would go, it was on a higher part of the yard, but I think nothing is safe with all of the rain we have got. I plan to add soil or sand to their run as well to make sure it doesn't get so wet next time...
