My Brother just finished our girls new home today, they are spending their first night out of the garage. They usually spend the days outside in the run a.nd their nights in the garage. I'm a nervous Mother hen, my babies are growing up

One of our dogs killed one of our babies today! Very upset, reenforcing everything now.

I'm thinking chicken diapers are in my future because I couldn't get rid of one of our babies.

From what I understand you can't really tell with Silkies and Sizzles until they lay an egg or start to crow, I have 2 of each and am waiting to find out they are only about 8 weeks old.

We have 7, the original 4 from the feed store. 2 americana: Mary and Connie 1golden sex link: Buffy 1 silkie ( I don't think so) Ruffles ( fitting because I think she is a he) then a week later we drove 140 miles round trip to get a 1 silkie and 2 sizzles

I give mine kisses all the time! How can you not they are so lovable.

7 total. 2 silkies, 2 sizzles, 2 ameracuanas and last but not least 1 golden sex link, they are all chicks at this point, just starting our adventures in backyard chicken.:)

We Just got 4 little fuzz heads, they are in the brooder and as cute as all get out. The other 4 legged critters don't know what to think. Happy to be starting our adventures in backyard chickens.
