    Love how you came up with their names! I do name mine too. I named Hilda and Sweetpea, my daughter named Queen, Princess, Mystery, and Faith, and my husband named Xena and Zelda. There was absolutely no rhyme or reason to the names, however their personalities do match!

    Thank you! Thank you! LOL, so true! I need to correct myself. They are not Ameraucanas, they are Easter Eggers. I just found out and only say it out of habit.

    How funny, we got our first egg on our wedding anniversary too! Also still waiting on our Ameracaunas and Russian Orloffs to start laying... They are 25 weeks now.

    I live here in NM and I think they were just trying to keep people safe. My wonder is how many people go to the feed stores and handle the cute little chicks without ever washing afterwards. I have been very adamant that everybody in my family wash their hands after touching anything chicken...
