This is really helpful. Thank you for taking the time to respond and also sending me the link to your alternative Valbazen dosing method. I will give the Z Gold a try asap.
So, sorry for the graphic poo video. I had to make sure with some fellow BYCers I wasn't looking at something else and calling it "tapeworm." I will try the more frequent administration this time around.
I noticed Tapeworm segments in my chickens poo several weeks ago. After researching all the threads here on BYC about tapeworm treatments, I decided to purchase pricey Valbazen from my local vet. I have fours girls, so I treated them all at the same time. I gave each chicken .5ml in a syringe...

Nothing cuter than a cochin. This is Opal. She may not be quite show quality, but she is such a cutie!! I just hope she decides it's time to lay some eggs soon :)

That is great news, and it cheers me up to know she waited until 29 weeks. Mine is 27, but her comb is not nearly as red as your beautiful girl. I will try to be more patient :)

The Blue Wyandotte is 36 weeks, the Sussex is 24 weeks, the Black...
My Black Australorp, Betty, is 27 weeks now, and I haven't seen an egg from her either, or any of her girlfriends. Do you guys think it is possible that the carpenter cloth on the top triangle of our coop lets in too much light? Maybe they don't feel secure enough in there to lay?
