OMG, my wife is a preschool teacher, so she talks to all of us like we are kids, "Do you need to potty?"... My reply, "No honey, I a big boy now, I make potty all by my self!" lol
It gets better... When she is talking to some of her Hispanic parents, she magically gets a Mexican accent...

I caught myself again this morning.... lifted a nest lid, opps! "sorry!"

Thank goodness I am not the only one....WHEW! :p

Does anyone else say, "excuse me" when you go to check the nest boxes, lift the lid and see a hen sitting there trying to lay...Kinda like when you walk in on someone sitting on the toilet... :/    No!, So it's just me then?

Hahahahaha! i do that too!!! And. I also say thank you when I collect the eggs
Well, We call them "the ladies" they have to be treated that ;)

My 22-25 weekish EE has not laid for almost a week. In previous weeks, she laid 1 every other day (14 eggs total) She looks and acts the same, lets Walter have his way, and is eating and drinking normally. She doesn't appear to be moulting. I kind of felt around for egg bound, but I don't know how or what to feel for...

What should I be looking for besides what I listed above? Thanks.

The onset of shorter days will switch hens laying off.
