    They arent molting yet, but i hadnt thought of that. And after i posted this i did some research, and they are indeed EEs, i think, but thats a debate for a different thread :-) there are some feathers in the run, not no more than normal.

    just rescued two beautiful hens, but unsure of the breed

    I know the second pic is a roo, but what about the gold laced makes you think they are roos? The have nearly no tail feathers,small feet, small comb... And the one in the back in the first pic is a new hampshire red, not a RIR. I meant to clarify.

    These birds are around 16 weeks old. We got them last night, and would love help identifying them. We also have Nala, i think its a rooster, that was sold to us as an australorp, but looks nothing like our other four australorp hens. What do you think? Thank you so much!!
