Well, got the storage building set up for the rest of the move to the farm. Put up two small pens for transfer of the chickens from the old house. Put most of my roosters in a holding pen awaiting freezer and crock pot camp, their days are numbered. Not sure if I am going to do five or six at...

Was hoping for fewer roos... At least one pullet has started laying Spending Thursday night at hospital, wife has a battle with migraines and nausea, dehydration.. .and we all know how "comfortable" these recliners are... Ironic, I am talking about chickens and eating hot wings at the hospital!

I raised around 30 chicks then needed up selling off the parents and chicks last fall. Neat birds but moving to a 46 acre farm and going all layers. Plus I am adding more bee hives. This heatnis tough...been 100-103 the last few days....tough on a nursery and landscaper guy!!!
