Thanks for your reply! I feel like it should be a federal law, because most laws governing birds are I'm pretty sure, but I don't find anything definite. Please everyone let me know if you are aware of anything recent. -

Hi everyone! I was was speaking with a friend today, and she seems to think that owning Muscovies is illegal. I did a few minutes of research, and I only find info that is dated 2011. Anyone know if it is currently illegal to own them? I hope not!!! Don't worry, they're safe either way!!! -

Thanks for your help. I am really in love with my ducks. I just wish they would go in the house with hay in it that I made up for them that is next to the pond. Ok I went outside and he was dead, I was going to try as a last resort to get some amoxi down him somehow, I just founf that it is ok to give amoxi. But I am absolutely devastated, he was my buddy. Thank you for your help. I am a mammal rehabber and semi new to ducks, but even the avian rehabilitators around here will not touch wood ducks. Period. They say they can't make them live. There is very little info on feeding wood ducks online or anywhere else, but he will definitely not eat... -
