They were rescued in the residential area in the city. I thought their beaks were broken, didn't think they were clipped. They only way about 2 lbs and are little compared to my others so I figured under 6 mo.
My border collie use to play with our rooster, so when they were fighting it was like...
The sickle feather just showed up today. They do alot of grooming and I see alot of feathers in the cope. So I think it is just loose feathers on the tail
They were rescued about 3 weeks ago. The first one, the comb is flopped over and is now starting to turn rose. The second one also had a flopped comb but it seems to be getting straighter. I think 4 months if I compare them to my other chickens.
Some of you thought these were hens and I am begining to wonder. They are facing and kicking each other. They are acting like roosters. My other hens have never done that! Is this something RIR do?
They were rescued on the side of the road in the city. Their earlobes look white to me. I don't think they have laid yet. They are much smaller than my 3 chickens and when you pick them up they probably weigh not even 2 lbs.
My friend rescued these chickens and gave them to me. The darker one is missing neck feathers and some breast feathers. I would keep them if they were hens, because I live in the city. I am leaning towards hens because of the floppy comb. They look like buff minorcas or leghorns. What do you think?
