    Comb discoloration

    Thanks for your prompt response. When the sun shone on his enclosure the comb returned to red color. So I'm guessing he was a little chilled. I'll offer some extra food items. Do you purchase electrolytes or make your own as an addition to water when chickens are ailing?

    Several of our hens have lifted scales on their legs. Legs seem to be swollen as well.What do you make of that? Any remedies?

    Our chickens love blackberries. They eat a quart per day. We're new chicken tenders. Anyone know of a reason to limit the amount or stop giving them the berries?

    I'm new also. First question about swiss flower hen with 2 chicks I think are about 2 months old She is aggressive with other chickens and has not resumed laying. When should we expect eggs?
