Hi all! I'm in Las Vegas and just got baby chicks. Right now they use their chick waterer, but soon they will be ready to go outside. Will a nipple or cup system work, or is it just too darn hot here?
Thanks!
Thanks everyone! I wish I could go bigger, but I only have so much room in my backyard. The girls will be able to free range during the day (I work from home, so will be able to let them out during the morning and keep an eye on them throughout the day). I like the idea of replacing the windows...
Hi! I have 4 brand new baby chicks and and am in the process of designing (or buying) a coop for them. We live in Las Vegas, so, no snow, maybe 1 or 2 days below freezing (at night) and many many days over 100 in the summer.
My space is pretty small, I have about an 8foot long by 5 foot wide...
Good morning! I thought I had found a great starter coop in Costco (in NorCal)...It held 2 chickens and was $169. Sadly it would not fit in my car to bring it back to Vegas. So, needless to say, I am now looking for a coop. Where do you suggest getting one?
Thanks!
