Grapes are my girls favorite treat. I cut each grape into 8 pieces to avoid chocking,and feed around 4pm once i know they have had plenty of pellets. Also love fresh figs,melon,apple and broccoli stems.

Sorry if this sounds daft......but Please can someone advise me on how best to wash my girls? The last four we got were from a filthy farm that didnt look after its stock well, and there covered in muck. We want to clean them but dont want to cause them any stress. Many thanks..

Heres my jg hen,shes 12 month old,really nice natured and good with kids.

Hiya im down south on isle of wight Weve 12 brown warrenns, 2 wyandottes, 2 ixworths, 3 friz or frazzles, 1 friz cross, 1 brahma, 1 bluebell, 1 sulmtaler, Absolutely loving looking after these smart birds,i find it really rewarding and relaxing too.

Are my girls Frizzles or frazzles? I was told there frazzles. They are year old,just molted so looking freaky.

Ae chickens ok in the rain? Weve had some big rain latley and the girls dont go in there house to get out of the wet,they just sit there and occasionaly shake off the water. Is that mormal?

Im unsure of when they started laying as ive just taken them on,there said to be a year old. They have just gone through molting stage. The eggs are fine to eat,just odd shaped. Thanks for the reply.
