    oh dear...I think my chick has imprinted on me.I'm putting him (?) and his younger friend in the coop all the day with my Brahma chicks and bringing them in at night as its chilly...I feel awful but it just happened! he was a lone hatch and came out of the egg shouting his head off.

    My Pea chick Gobby has acquired a bald spot on top of its head in front of where the crest feathers are growing, it didn't have it before......its friend Noodle who is younger doesn't have it but then at that age Gobby didn't either. it's a fit and lively chick....bit concerned, any ideas?

    Breeder has been very nice, sorry I was sold two boys instead of girls and has given me my money back, I will get 2 females in March (older ones) The chickens went back today. Im told they wont be culled and will run with the other collection of not wanted or oddballs that they have up there...

    They are pure bred Buff Orpingtons, they are already very large and unfortunately male. They go back Sunday and no replacements until fe or march.....I'm not happy. :(
