Hi!
I have a weird foot issue with my rooster I am trying to treat. The bottom of one foot pad is slightly larger, has black spots, raised scales, deep valleys and is warm to the touch. I have seen a lot of bumble foot in other chickens and this does not look or feel like it.
How would you...

Can someone please tell me what these bubbles are? Upon puncturing a couple they spilled clear liquid.
A little background on her-
Georgia was a rescue so I am unsure of her age. She was laying this year but not much and I don't think she laid in the past 4 weeks. She has had chronic poopy...
Hi! Does this look like the Chinese tool kit that seems to be more recommended that the ones available for $50 in the US? The rib spreader looks much different but wondering what people's preferences are, for tools. Below is the link for aliexpress kit TIA...
Sorry I cannot help you with this. I just got a few mille fleur d'uccle chicks straight run and they are a week old today. I was wondering when you could tell that he was a male, if you recall?
I am interested in this too, I have a RIR who will on occasion walk backwards while shaking her head. Been wanting to catch her on video doing it, it is really amusing!
@SlyDog Thank you for adding your story! Mona is adorable. She will def require more effort and attention than your other hens, I am glad you are up for it! You will become very attached to her. I lost my FC earlier this month, I miss her. She was my favorite hen and was a great pet. She...
Hi!
I am treating my flock according to your instructions, thank you for posting this.

@Sjisty Thank you for this creative and entertaining story! I just found this and I am on page60, catching up! It is a great read while on the treadmill, keeps me going and I forget about the time! Gorgeous birds you have, I think I have to look into getting Brahmas now. You have a talent, thank...
Wow I had no idea their beak can get that long! I have a blind chicken who needs beak and nail trimmings. I have her story on here called Keeping a Blind Chicken. I purchased nail clippers for small dogs and only take a small amount off at a time. They have worked great so far.
Hi! I have a chicken that looks just like your girl. She is very ill right now and I am struggling to find a vet who will treat her for a reasonable cost. My little lady is 1 year 7 months and had first signs of unusual poop last summer and I could not find anything online on it. Now I have, and...

For my grown hen I use planters and short buckets for that reason, because...
