Tell me more about the compressed sawdust pellets? What is the purpose? They absorb water I guess? Used in addition to straw/hay? I live about an hour from the nearest feed store. Looking online, send any great online store links if you know any! -

I see so many feeders and waterers but all seems to be labeled poultry or for chickens... Any ideas or pictures of what works for you? I give buckets of water but maybe they might like an alternative water source (that might stay a bit cleaner?) -
Egg production in approx 3 yr old ducks?
We have just adopted a pair of Rouens and a Cayuga. They haven't laid eggs for a while, at least 6 mos - the previous owner said. We know the Rouens are 3 years old, Cayuga was black when they adopted her, now she is very white... so, can you get the egg production going again? How? -
My female runner has spots on her beak! What is this?!

They are keeping their names, Twoee pronounced two-ee is the male Rouen, he was #2 initially when the previous owners first got them, hence his name. Mille is the female Rouen. The Rouens are 3 years old and Gretta is the Cayuga adopted from Majestic Waterfowl Sanctuary so Twoee would be... -

They are going to be closed in the house at night. One of the ducks comes from a sanctuary so we have to meet some requirements. Please share your watering options. The owner let them drink from a 2ish gallon bucket, changed daily. -

You all really inspire me! This duck house was here when we moved in. We want to adopt 3 ducks in need of a home, but I am concerned about the cleanability of this house. They will also have a wire pen we will attach to the left short side of this that is 6 x 8.5 feet. Any ideas on how to...
