Today when I checked the chicken girl who has been sick, I found she had a nearly normal poop!
I think she is in the process of recovery.
Thanks for all your help!
Thanks for all the information!
I have been doing force feeding for the past 3 days: porridge mixed with egg and water, 3 times a day.
She looks still weak, most time just stands inside the chicken run, crumb drops, doesn't show sign of eating herself. has been passing poop like green egg...
this is our first flock and they haven't been moved or any new chickens brought in. I just noticed that the poop was liquid/green. We have had rubbery shell eggs in the past but none lately.
We have 10 leghorn chicken girls and they are 6 months old. This morning I found one girl looks like sick: she is not as active as others for eating, comb dropping down, lays down a lot. I fed her some crashed garlic. Just don't know what to do. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with her? Thanks...
We started to pick egg from last week. We found eggs in nesting box. corner of the chicken run, or corner at the backyard. As each time we only got on or two, we thought it should be only one or two were laying.
The day before, my husband complained chicken had been noise under his bedroom...
Got one more egg this morning! So we had scrambled egg for dinner tonight. Our daughters finished her share and said: it is so good! I wish we had a lot more!
Haha! I am sure we will have more!
Our girls have been very noisy these days! This afternoon when I checked the chicken coop, there was an egg laying in the corner! A little small, and the color is not bright white. But who cares! This is a big day for us!

We got 10 chick leghorns girls at October, they are doing great. We just clipped their wing feathers this morning so they will not fly to other neighbor's yard. We just learned our chickens girls are...
Thank you so much for your reply. My girls are just three months old, no eggs yet. Do you recommend clipping both wings or just one. I have been watching youtube. My hens sure to like to fly, but I never though they would get over the fence.

I have a flock of 10 white leghorns hens that we sometimes let out and roam the backyard. They have started flying on top of the six foot fence that separate our backyard with our neighbors. Today we found one of our chicks had her legs tied together with thread. Also we found posted on our...
